Look no further than Zimbabwe, Mocambique and South Africa. The recent visit by South African military officials to Russia should have been met with the highest of condemnation, yet this visit has gone almost unnoticed as a non event.
The future of countries without democratic process is bleak - Zimbabwe has over 40 years of oppression sunk into a social, economic and political quagmire. The State has captured almost every working part of public institutions - including the judiciary. This state of affairs is definately part and parcel of a long road of Russian and Chinese ideological influence since the early days of the "war of liberation" another war by proxy, fully supported by Russia and China.
