DeSantis has targeted black Floridians to suppress their votes, tried to punish free speech, attacked education and universities, purged an elected attorney general because he disagreed with DeSantis, attacked LGTBQ+ people, etc etc. I’m going to cancel my subscription, I don’t want puff pieces on “Trump clone” dictator wannabes like DeSantis.
Good arguments, but you fail to take into account where the GOP and its backers want to go. Peter Theil, for example, has said he’d like the entire system to crumble in order to create an explosion of innovation. This approach -- Government of the people, for the corporate welfare and by the “people we choose” is shared broadly across the party. That’s why they’ve stuck with Trump and will continue to do so. Trump can’t be bested by DeSantis or anyone in the Magasphere. I favour a moderate with a personality who will challenge Trump on ethical and solid conservative grounds and by signing up independents and anti-Trumpers and squeak out the W
Your comparisons of Pence to Desantis and you have an inability to see trumps people tire of him and the Republican Party working to stop him.
This piece is hack work in my opinion. Trump was never smart enough to set up things like trans youth laws and take on corporation like Disney. Desantis is a giant threat and people are saying it because they don’t want to be asleep athe wheel again ikr in 2016.
I m writing this so that anyone who glances who isn’t familiar with him and says ‘oh maybe Desantis isn’t a threat’ will know that this piece is questionable at best but really it have no place under the term democracy.
The so-called Covid-19 vaccination isn't a real vaccination. It has been factually proven that it doesn't prevent whoever from getting Covid-19 again, doesn't prevent the spread of Covid-19 and doesn't prevent death from Covid-19. Not everyone who choose not to get the jab has gotten sick(whatever degree) or has died from it. Not to mention those who are against the jab aren't just conservatives and right-wingers...it also includes liberals & left-wingers.

To summarize: DeSantis is the least of two evils. Sounds reasonable although not very exciting…
