A brilliant discussion on the global battle between autocracy and democracy.

Dwelling on the ideas of "woke-ism" and forces of disabling open speech in free societies, I believe the first assault on individual liberties is incubated through the actions of the cancel culture.

Taking notice of what is happening to freedom of expression on any interactive platform is crucial to ensure continuance of democratic thinking.

The problem in countries where people enjoy civil liberty is those people do not have a clear grasp of the experience of living under the shackles of autocracy.

Autocratic governance does not rise up over night. A gradual deflation of personal rights over a number of years is what drives a population to autocracy. It is a sublime process.

An excellent discussion.

What a brave man that Leopoldo Lopez is.... More of his kind and autocrats would have a hard time prospering as they do now.

Anyone who goes to prison for protesting against autocracy is a hero. Subliminal messages 😳…yeah. Madero is disgusting and Venezuela can do so much better. Can’t believe the US went there, hand out, for oil! This country (US) will probably soon learn what suffering is when we get our own autocrat.

López is not reliable as leader. He is just an ambitious man who dreams to become Venezuelan's president. We are claiming for new leaders, "fresh faces" in Venezuelan political scène.
